Secure Your Event Access with Password Protection
Password protection allows you to restrict access to your event page, ensuring only individuals with the correct password can view and purchase tickets. Here's how to manage password protection for your events.
📝 Password protection can be added or removed at any time before or after event publication.
Setting Up Password Protection
For New Events (During Event Creation)
- To kick off your event creation, simply check out the steps in our handy guide here ⬇️
- Navigate to the
Additional Settings
section while creating your event. - Locate the
Password Protection
option. - Enable the feature by toggling the button.
- Enter your desired password.
- Complete the rest of your event setup and publish.
For Existing Events
- From your Dashboard go to the
My Events
section. - Find the event you want to modify and click
View
. - Navigate to
Additional Settings
section. - To enable
Event Password Protection
just clickUpdate
. Save
your changes.
When password protection is active:
- Buyers will see a password prompt when attempting to access your event.
- Only those with the correct password can view event details and purchase tickets.
- The password requirement applies to all showings of the event.
Removing Password Protection
- From your Dashboard go to the
My Events
section. - Find the password-protected event and click
View
. - Navigate to
Additional Settings
section. - To disable
Event Password Protection
just clickUpdate
. - Delete the password.
Save
your changes.
